We are happy to host our guests and have booked out the event venue, Ramada by Wyndham Kochi,(https://www.ramadakochi.com/) and additional rooms at the Crowne Plaza Kochi,(https://www.ihg.com/crowneplaza/hotels/us/en/kochi/cokch/hoteldetail) which is just 10 minutes from the venue. You do not need to make a reservation directly and we will share more details around room allocations closer to the event.

You can arrive any time on Feb 21; check-in will open around 2pm – we are actively trying to move this earlier to 12pm and will update guests once we have confirmation. The Sangeet event will begin around 6pm. Check out on Feb 23 will be at 11am, with possibility of extension to 1pm.

The hotels are about a 45-minute drive from the Kochi airport. On Tuesday, Feb 21, we will be providing transportation to the hotel at 2-3 pre-specified times, depending on flight schedules. The same will be available on Thursday, Feb 23 for guests to go to the airport from the hotel. Alternatively, if these timings do not work for you, we recommend getting a pre-booked taxi at the airport or directly from the hotel. Uber is also available as an alternate option.

All meals starting from dinner on the 21st up to breakfast on the 23rd will be covered for wedding guests, either as part of wedding events or as adjacent meals. You do not need to arrange for any of these meals and we will have a wide selection of food options available.

Kerala is a tropical paradise located on the Malabar coast of South India. While there are many positives to this geography, this also means the region is consistently hot and humid. February is a relatively cooler month, with temperatures in Kochi ranging from 25 to 32 C (77 to 90 F). While this may seem relatively cool, humidity stays high and well over 75%, so be prepared for the heat!

The Sangeet and Wedding will take place under a covered and sealed canopy with air conditioning. The Reception will take place outdoors in the main courtyard. We will have outdoor fans and air conditioning - since the event begins later in the evening we hope the weather will be temperate.

The dress codes vary by event - you can reference the event schedule here (www.mehulandshalini.com/wedding-itinerary)for event-specific dress codes. We recommend dressing in cool / light fabrics throughout to be best prepared for the heat.

Yes, kids are invited to all events! There is an activity room at the resort where kids can enjoy some playtime between events.

The final deadline to RSVP is Dec 10, 2022. Since this is a destination wedding, we unfortunately have longer lead times and need to finalize guest numbers as soon as possible. We appreciate your timely response in making this happen.
